Carlos Sainz is not worried about Charles Leclerc`s good relationship with his new boss.
Frederic Vasseur will become the new head of Ferrari instead of Mattia Binotto. Vasseur and Leclerc worked together in the Sauber and junior series. Some experts believe that Fred will rely on Charles in his new team.
From what I have heard from others and from what I know of Fred myself, he is the right man. Everyone in the paddock knows him and I`m sure he can handle it. It will be necessary to get used to the team, but Fred knows Formula 1 very well, as well as Ferrari.
I don`t feel like I`m starting [working with Wasser] from scratch. As I said, I am sure that I will get along with him, and he will be pleased with my work, relations with the team and Charles. I believe his time-tested relationship with Leclerc will benefit everyone, and will also speed up his acclimatization in the team, " Carlos said in an interview with Corriere dello Sport.
