Gerard Pique dated his new girlfriend long before breaking up with Shakira.
Fans of the Colombian singer noticed Pique`s new girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti, in an interview that the former Barcelona defender gave from home via Zoom video conference back in 2021, when Shakira and her children were away.
According to Page Six, Shakira was devastated to learn that the woman clearly felt like she was the boss of the home they shared with their children, and that the affair lasted much longer than she imagined.
Shakira and Gerard Pique announced their separation in June 2022. The couple have been in a relationship for almost 12 years and have two children.
