Chelsea won their home game against Leeds in the 11th round of the Premier League with 3:1. The two teams had an intriguing clash at Stamford Bridge, but the Londoners managed to take theirs after a turnaround. The guests opened in the 4th minute through Patrick Bamford, but Olivier Giroud in the 27th, Kurt Zuma in the 61st and Christian Pulisic in the 93rd minute brought success to the hosts, which at least temporarily climbed them to the top of the standings. The match advised by today predictions started in a whirlwind. In the 2nd minute Chelsea could find the result. First Hakim Zieh was brought to a good position, but his shot was saved by the goalkeeper. In the ensuing corner, Olivier Giroud shot dangerously with his head, but past the door. In the 60th minute, the Leeds guard Messlie made two brilliant saves after shots from close range by Werner. In the ensuing corner, however, Kurt Zuma was missed and headed for 2:1.
Until the end, the hosts continued to press. In the 68th minute Christian Pulisic made a great pass from close range. Then in the 75th minute Werner once again failed to overcome the goalkeeper Messlie, who remained face to face with him. In the 87th minute, Tammy Abraham went to the shooting position, but did not hit the door. In the added time, however, a third goal fell in the door of Leeds. Werner advanced to the right and passed parallel to the goal line for Pulisic, who intercepted the final 3:1.
with a game more than Tottenham and Liverpool, who play tomorrow. Leeds is in the middle of the table in 12th place with 14 points.
